Vessev raises NZ$32.6M Series A round

Vessev (New Zealand) has raised NZ$32.6M in a Series A round, announced on August 21, 2026. The company is Builds commercially certified electric hydrofoiling passenger vessels. The round was led by Blackbird Ventures, with participation from GD1, Rypples, K1W1, Icehouse Ventures, Shasta Ventures, NZVC.

Vessev raised NZ$32.6 million to accelerate VS-9 production, expand its go-to-market team, develop onboard software, and support larger vessels.
