Adaptyv Biosystems raises $40M Series A round

Adaptyv Biosystems (Switzerland) has raised $40M in a Series A round, announced on August 26, 2026. The company is Automated protein engineering laboratory using synthetic biology, nanofluidics and machine learning. The round was led by Highland Europe, with participation from Ace Ventures, ByFounders, Y Combinator.

Adaptyv Biosystems will use the Series A to expand laboratory capacity, open a London lab and office, and develop more advanced biological workflows.
